A chic Restaurant with a seasonal menu, the Table du Pigonnet has been a renowned institution since 1924. The décor is enchanting in all its simplicity. Inside, the luminous room is pierced by large arcades that open onto the garden. The impeccable tablecloths, the tableware and the choreography of the maitre d'hôtel convey the essence of a great house. As soon as the weather is fine, the table is set on the terrace with the avenue of hundred-year-old chestnut trees in view. Under their shade, lounges invite you to enjoy the park for coffee or tea.
A menu based on local market produce.
Originally from the North of France, Chef Thierry Balligand has long made the colours of the South his own. When he arrived at the Pigonnet in 1993, he fell in love with the Hotel and the region. Today, as head of the kitchen, he plays a score that combines simplicity and conviction. The mostly local products are selected at full maturity according to the rhythm of the harvest. The cooking and seasoning are right on target. The dressings and the play of textures remind us that the Chef has made his mark in pastry making. As for the sommelier, he offers one of the best wine lists in the region.
Casual ambience and signature cocktails
Fancy a Farigoule Sour or a French Spritz in a relaxed atmosphere? Go to 1924, the Hotel Le Pigonnet's cosy refuge. Open from October to May, this winter bar with its mirrors and fireplace is reminiscent of an English club. Alongside its signature cocktails, the menu offers a number of pretty bottles, combined with suggestions for cold dishes to be savoured under the portraits of artists who have stayed in our establishment.
