1. Energy and economic water management
• Hotel with green electricity contract
•Reservible thermodynamic air conditioning and heating system
•Low-energy products (low-energy light bulbs)
• Addition of a main, central switch in the rooms
• Majority of windows in double glazing
• Movement detectors in corridors (for lights)
• Bicycles available to guests for eco-friendly rides in Aix en Provence and its surroundings
• Double flushing systems installed
• Water-flow regulators installed
• Guests may choose not to have new linens and towels every day
•The possibility to shower rather than bath in every bathroom
Products and economic waste management
• Use of bio-degradable or ecological products
• The breakfast products are from organic, sustainable/untreated, and local agriculture. For example, the eggs and cereals are organically grown, the oranges and lemons are from a sustainable/untreated agriculture and some cheeses and yoghurts are local farm products.
• Proposals for a vegetarian starter and main course since 2014
•All food specificities can be requested
• Major preference for French products
• Water bottles offered in the room are in returnable glass
